Students from Mentari School Jakarta visit XSProject Office

The Grade Two from Mentari School Jakarta visited XSProject on Tuesday, 11 November in the morning in groups of 3 (25 students each). They learn about how to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, to see the process directly. During the visit they toured XSproject office, workshop and closed with the question and answer session with questions they had prepared prior the visit. These questions related to the project that they will work at schools to raise awareness of the environmental and trash.

Many ways for the children can do and as part of the learning and doing it all the way, is by purchasing our products and so that the students can appreciate the waste that they or other people created and reduce the unwanted waste in Jakarta. And also with the money they spend to purchase the product, the children can help making sure that the children of the trash pickers can also go to school so that they can get a better future than their parents.

  1. Every child should learn at an early age how important it is to take care of their environment and how to reduce, reuse and recycle the things they might just throw away. No trash every “goes away’. It always ends up some place and usually not a good place. For these students to have the opportunity to see first hand what happens to our environment and how it affects kids their own age is a huge step in consumer education. Sometimes the children understand it better than the adults!
